Not 22nd row, but I was in 18th row (my best ever) in Toronto in 2000 and it was too far back, as far as I'm concerned. Sure it was close, but there were rows and rows of heads and arms in my way. I had to stand on my tiptoes the whole night and never once saw the entire stage at the same time. Luckily most of the time I could see Jon through the heads in front of me, but it was hard seeing the other band members. Of course, I could have just watched the screens, but if I wanted to watch them on tv, I wouldn't go to a live concert!
Oh I should add that although the view from my row wasn't the best, the atmosphere on the floor was amazing! Everyone on their feet and singing and dancing! And it was so cool when the confetti fell and it landed on us! But if I had the choice of seats again, I think I'd rather get seats in the lower level stands closer to the stage than 18th row on the floor.
Keep in mind, this is just my opinion, and I'm also one who can't stand having a head blocking even a tiny part of the screen at a movie.
