Default 29th july at Giants - Time to record a tour DVD?

Hi!

Does anyone else have this feeling that the last of the Giants shows is gonna be recorded for a DVD release?

They have the Title ready: Who says you canīt go home - Live in NJ

They havenīt done a tour DVD since the Crush tour and bands nowadays usually do at least one per tour.

Theyīve "rehearsed" (meaning played) quite many songs on this tour that havenīt been on any of the previous DVD releases.

The show is scheduled to be apart from the other giants shows, why? Maybe cause the camera crew was available only that time.

Also the starting time is later than on other Giants shows. Maybe because itīll get dark earlier in the show and itīll look better on DVD..

Speculations, I know... but that would be nice deal.

We could get a tour DVD with some nice songs like Raise Your Hands, In These Arms, Dry County, Blood On Blood, These Days, Living In Sin and the HAND ones. If only they bothered.

Hereīs a hoping that theyīll bother. And if they do, hopefully they start the show with Last Man Standing.

Sounds promising at least!
I think they will do Giants for a dvd... 'Cause we know that they've planned to give us a dvd from this tour. But now when Wembley still isn't ready, they might want to give us something special ('cause Wembley would have been special), and the shows at Giants are always special.

Whats the point, the shows havnt sold out and weve already had a made for TV performance at Giants in 01. I really think a German show or Dublin deserves a DVD, they are two of the biggest and loudest shows.

I hear what youre saying though I do think the 29th will end up on DVD

Yeah it would be nice but I would believe that if they recorded the Giants show, they would told it to us... atleast if the show won't be sold out.

I really hope they do record it for a live CD/DVD but I have my doubts ... what with the duets thing, the greatest hits and the alleged new album, that's gonna be a lot of releases over the next few years

I totally agree but itīs too late to hope for that donīt you think? The only possibility to get a tour DVD is the giants so Iīm building hope here

I donīt care where they record it if we get a good show with a setlist that includes some songs that have not yet been released in DVD format.

My friend made an interesting point. When Jon came out for Giants night 2, she thinks they were all wearing the same clothes they were when the show ended the night previously. I don't think that's enough to go on to assume a dvd was filmed already, as there'd have to be more cameras I assume.

How exactly we do know that? Besides if they have been talking about their future projects (duets thing, greatest hits and next studio album) I would assume they might have said something about the live album as well, if thereīs ever going to be one. But I havenīt seen anything official about it. Still thereīs about a week until that concert takes place so anything can happen.

i think we'll get half a dozen songs or so as bonus material on a new release (new greatest hits, duets etc). Much like we had 6 songs from Hyde park on TLFR dvd.

Wouldnt be suprised if they were from the Giants shows, but there was one extra camera on a crane at MK1 and two extra cameras at MK2.

Who knows?!
