6 dates in one state of America would be ridiculous IMHO. Even if it is where they live.
Springsteen played 10 nights at Giants Stadium last tour.

There's demand for it. The reason is, people come from all over the world to see them play in New Jersey. So, they play a few shows and people get to go to more than one.

Yes he did - I was at 9 of them (I was in Philly for a Bon Jovi concert for one date which is why it wasn't 10) What a summer.
I remember an interview from 2003 where Jon said that they could have sold 3 nights at Giants but that there was no room for dates because Bruce had taken them all. Keep in mind that the 3 shows already in Jersey this year are arena shows and are quite small compared to stadium shows. Continental has about 25,000 seats including the floor. Three nights there is about equal to 1 night at Giants which holds between 60-80 thousand, depending on how they arrange the stage and seating. I am also hoping for a few Giants dates this summer.

Of course they will do giants several times. They have to.
And they will!

I think NJ has enough shows planned for it at the moment anyway
Nope. It is their home state. They owe us. Seriously though, I am only able to go this summer, so they better be back!! I would bet money that Giants will be on the list for the summer.

**edit** Wikipedia
For hockey, the Garden seats 18,200; for basketball, 19,763; and for concerts 20,000 center stage, 19,522 end-stage.
Both Continental and MSG are basketball/hockey arenas.

Continental is almost exactly the same size as MSG:
CAPACITY
19, 968 (NBA)
20,029 (college basketball)
19,040 (hockey)
20,000 (concerts)

So for 5 sold out concerts (2 @ MSG and 3 @ Continental) that is 100,000 tickets. We need more than that around here LOL.

I suppose they could be back in the States for July, and end in August like they did in 2003.
Yes. There will be 2nd leg or I'll be mighty pissed. No dates have been announced on the west coast yet. I suspect they they do the west coast before they do Europe, at least that is what they did during Bounce. They played Seattle in April. I also think they'll finish the tour off with Giants at the end of the summer.
