Default 3rd Night for Met-Life?

Has anyone heard about a 3rd show for Met-Life? Kind of strange that they would end the summer leg on a Thursday night in their hometown during the summer.

I haven't heard anything on a 3rd show. I would think with them possibly (so is the rumor) in the fall that they may hold off on doing 3 but who knows.

Not only are they not sold out, neither of them look like they are selling well.

It is still 5 months away. The album has not come out yet and it looks like no other NY/NJ shows until the fall. Plus there are no Philadelphia shows announced yet. I still think there's a chance a 3rd night.

I agree with you ....
What was supposed to be and what WILL BE is different probably ... they expected a better response from the public
I see for example the response that <because we can> got on the radio and in the charts.
On Vh1the song entered #18 and went to #20 week 2 .....yikes ....
Things can change drastically but for now Bon Jovi is not exactly scoring the way they planned to

Yeah, you can pull up any section you want and pretty much get tickets.

The album is not going to sell tickets. That argument makes no sense. It's going to flop. There are a fair amount of people who go to both the Philadelphia and NJ/NY area shows so they have most likely already purchased their MetLife tickets. There's no way they will put a third night on sale without major movement on the first two shows and that's not happening thus far.

Maybe everyone is overreacting to the lack of additional dates being announced so far this tour. With more tour dates being announced in the fall, maybe it's part of the reason why no 3rd date has been added to the new Giants Stadium. Maybe they plan to play MSG in the fall or maybe they might announce the Philadelphia show as a Stadium show this summer instead of arena show in the fall. With all this being said, maybe the band has plans for next June/July touring the US again and maybe that's the reason why they're not announcing additional dates for Giants stadium this year...........If the band is playing the Superbowl in 2014, the most globally televised event in the world, I'm sure they're not going to play it without announcing any additional tour dates to promote. It has been mentioned in other threads/interviews that Jovi will tour Europe again in smaller venues/arena next summer so maybe they will play additional dates in the USA next year as well (it isn't a long shot, by the end of next July it will be 1.5 months on the road).............My point is, with all these threads about Jovi not being able to sell out Giants/Fox-borough/Detroit I think Jovi know what they're doing when it comes to touring. The shows are 5 months away, they will sell out/or be close too sold out. In my humble opinion I just think with all the Superbowl hype next year, they will use it as a springboard to promote additional shows for 2014 not only in Europe and the USA but maybe Far East (India, Thailand, South Korea, Japan) and maybe countries like Israel and Russia before they head back to Europe..............The point is that maybe the band has plans for 2014 which explains their course of action for 2013.
