As it should....and if they can sell it, at the New Meadowlands Stadium. It's not the same when you end it in Madison Square Garden...different vibe.

I'll be very surprised if they don't end the tour in NYC or NJ.

The tour plan appears to be really ambitious, i hope they will pull it off and keep the high level of the o2 performances. i was thinking that jon maybe puts all this effort because he wants the tour to exceed all expectations in total tickets and gross, the only tour unfortunately they wont be able to beat will surely be u2 360 and possibly rolling stones bigger bang(as long as the profit goes, cause the tickets where somewhere near 2 milions ) and maybe his goal is to have another no1 tour after lost highway and the no 1 tour in two consecutive years...2010-2011
i wonder if they will add second dates in australia??

The sound doesn't suck, and I'm not miles away from the stage.
Different vibe indeed =p

Why, Tico is 56, Huey is older at 59, Tico beats the shit out of the drums younger than blokes half his age. I think if it was they would announce it as a farewell tour to maximise sales, cause it would surly be one of the biggest tours ever.

Ouch, I'll need a little ice for that burn
Actually, I liked the sound at NMS, both from the lower level and the two days I spent in the upper deck. I just LOVE the sound at MSG.

I still maintain that Richie is clued into things a lot more than we all think, he just says these things before some of it is even final plans. He's probably right, they do have 40 stadiums booked as of right now. Shit happens and plans change. If they do, I'm not gonna sit here and boo-hoo like some of you do and go, "well Richie said this....".
I am not hanging on anyones word.

The part Richie said about Australia was seriously never happening never ever ever. It doesn't matter anyway. I sometimes believe some people such as Richie do just say what people want to hear or probably just gets overly enthusiastic trying to promote the band. Like him going on about how all the 02 shows were sold out as well, and I know its not just Richie

If 40 stadiums happen it will be great, it just sounds very ambitious as they have never done 40 stadiums in Europe before. Presumably they will have to go to a lot of countries they don't normally go to and prices will have to be good.

But definitely next year! I probably prefer to do this rather than travelling to and from Glasgow in two exhausting days. I've done it a lot in the past but now with a little kid I am not up for travelling that much.
Thats brilliant hes hooked now before long he'll be the same as you. I cant see flights coming down in price just yet but hopefully you can go next year. Travelling with little ones can be stressful.
