He still gave it all he had on the "livin' on a prayer!" before the solo. I know it's different if you're not fortunate enough to see the band multiple times, but I don't question his decision to try to do the show.

People say the moment you talk about is lip-synched..

I think he tried his best. On the other hand, he could have given the other guys a chance to sing a song, have some rest and finish the show, even earlier but not after 90mins. The problem might be that they don't have much rehearsed with Shanks. David has sung ITA a few times, he can do Bed OF Roses as he does during his solo shows in Italy, he can sing Memphis Alone on the piano. Phil X probably knows a few songs he could do but not the band. That's the moment when you miss Richie who could do a few songs, or even Bobby as he knows many covers..

Take a look at @Mattisfaction56's Tweet: https://twitter.com/Mattisfaction56/...829699584?s=09

Pittsburgh set list comparison. Some of the songs crossed out are wrong but the main thing is the block of new songs is down to just 2. I hope that's not the sign of shows to come.

I work for a school system (Psychometrist). I get plenty of holidays and a few weeks in summer off. The problem is those days rarely coincide with Bon Jovi's tour schedule. They are usually in Europe in June and the northeast in July. They typically play the South in the spring or winter months. Sometimes I can catch them during a break like this year Memphis fell during spring break. But typically I would have to fly to see them in the summer and that is extremely expensive. Not that I haven't done it many times.

Just cancel the tour and move on. Sadly the band are not a patch on what they were.

They do need to call it a day now. For the sake of their legacy, they should stop sooner rather than later.

I don't like admitting it but this incarnation of the band is miles away from the band I knew. The heart and soul has gone and it's sad to see the decline. If this was a boxer the towel would be thrown in. They should call it quits.

Everyone I've gone to shows with or talked to after the shows I attended would disagree. My friend who hasn't seen the band in 30 years is already ready to go again and said he hopes this isn't the last tour.

If you think the band should throw in the towel, maybe it's time for you to throw in the towel and let people who enjoy them keep on enjoying them for years to come. You don't want to see them live? Don't. Plenty of people still do.

I still want to see them! The St Paul show was great. I felt so lucky that they are still performing after all of these years. What a blessing!!

Well, in this case I think I agree with Becky, Jon should not abandon anything, although he should rethink a different path. This is so boring, so repetitive and with a great lack of great performances ... I can not believe the low level they have.

Before, they weren't perfect, but Jon knew how to do magic, despite not having a great voice, he could do great performances, with more feeling, but now it's all flat, and the same set list every night does not help. Jon has to recover some old songs and eliminate repertoire of Lost Highway. In the KTF tour they repeated a lot of the set list, but all the songs were amazing. Now is not the case.

They could play some song of Burning Bridges, I'm Your Man would sound very funny, and not touch more WGIGO. Not to play more Rollercoaster, and to alternate it with Born Again Tomorrow. Bring Blaze Of Glory in the middle of the show, and play some old songs on the end, like Get Ready or Wild In The Streets.
