I've heard 22 shows so far (all except Pitt) and I have attended 4 shows and with MSG next week it will be 6. This tour hasn't been boring for me at all. If you haven't heard the shows or have gone and are reading a set on the internet then yeah it's boring. I bet with whatever break they are going to have, he will restructure a lot of the show and probably do the whole album gimmick like others do. Hell, I wouldn't mind if every few nights he did this record in full like he did in Red Bank and London. This tour does have the going though the motions feel to it at some spots though. We also don't know if he can't play certain songs anymore. Springsteen had a major injury for a few tours and never let on about it. We all noticed he wasn't soloing or attempting songs he normally would. It was then put out in his book that he had major neck and nerve surgery and we had our, AH HA that's why moment. Not saying Jon is going through something physically, but we will never know. So I like to give him the benefit of the doubt and go the route of I am glad he is still going out and singing his songs.

If you think the band should throw in the towel, maybe it's time for you to throw in the towel and let people who enjoy them keep on enjoying them for years to come. You don't want to see them live? Don't. Plenty of people still do.

Fair play. Each to their own and if you still enjoy it then that is great. My towel is in the ring and this will be my last post for some time. Always rembering the good times I've had with this band.

That's pretty much where my husband is right now. He will go with me if I want - but he is no longer a happy co-fan.

I will say again, I was very happy with the St Paul show and thought his energy and showmanship was unbelievable.

Maybe I feel this way because I didn't see the band until 2005? Maybe because I can finally sit down front and actually see him perform?

From YouTube I can see the shows were amazing back when they were younger. They are not "young" anymore and but not "old" either. They are where they are now which cannot be changed and still out on the road which has made me very happy.

It's like Jon said when Brad came up to sign a song in Pittsburgh - it's not as easy as it looks. That's true with so many things. Some people work so hard and become so good that what they do seems easy. That's when you know they are really good.
