On another note, can't wait to see a decent quality video of Always in full - Jon's clearly straining in that clip but I can take that if the rest of the song was as good as it can be...
Most groups do not take the record producer on their tours--even if they have a good record producer

And I still wish everything wasn't being streamed.

Can we all appreciate what an awesome song Roller Coaster is? Both studio version and live version. I think I like it better than That's What the Water Made Me and Love's the Only Rule. It's such a fun song.

This House Is Not For Sale along with the new tour intro. Quite like it, and the outro is awesome.

Oh yes it was - listen to the audience participation and their reaction at the end. Those of us that have heard this since the 80s were blown away - at least I was. It was far better than I expected. It wasn't played last tour at all - and on the previous tour Richie sang it, and he kept forgetting half the words. This was Jon working his ass off and caring again - finally

I really like the new tour intro! And I think the title track works great for the opener... is there a video for LYHOM floating around somewhere?

I was at the show last night. I was absolutely blown away! My expectations were low going in, and Jon gave his all. I mean, they played 2 1/2 hours!!!

The part of the set that included born to follow, lost highway and because we can we're definitely meh. Then Who says came next, after we suffered those (but the crowd loves it.)

Jon was so chatty. I've been to lots of shows, and I've never heard him talk so much. I was really trying to take it all in, because no way he will talk that much every show. He was NOT on autopilot this time. From the very beginning, he was all smiles and very interactive with the crowd. He noticed all the signs near me on the floor, and pointed them out and usually commented. I just couldn't believe all the interaction. He seemed to be loving every minute and feeling grateful. I had 8th row aisle, so I stood out in the aisle a bit and had a great view. At one point he was in front of me and I had m hands in the air, so when he smiled at me, I sort of waved at him, and he blew a kiss st me. I fan girl'd a bit.

On the drive to the show, I told my friend he would not be attempting Always this tour. So imagine our surprise when he came out with that. Then he fist bumped all the band individually after the performance, and then told the vocal story you have all heard tonight. It was a really special night.

That's awesome Mel. I'm really glad you got a good show and had a great time. Thanks for sharing

Still no video of Always after that one minute snippet

Can anyone at least quote what Jon said after it about his voice? It doesn't seem like anyone recorded it.
