Always wasn't great but it was acceptable considering it was 2 hrs 15 mins into the gig.

Just been watching the 93 gig an evening with...

The wife's never seen it and she just said - wow, what a voice - he sounds fantastic

Those days have gone I'm afraid but credit to JBJ for having a go

I hate all the additions.
I can accept Phil but not shanks.
Bongo man can do one as well.
So glad I witnessed this rock n roll juggernaut throughout the glory years.

There are clearly two vocal mixes on Always, which can be demarcated by whether Jon's voice sounds like it's coming from an IEM or not. The one that sounds like the IEM is the pitch-corrected one; the first half of Always wasn't doctored.

That soundboard audio recording was horrible... It sounded like it came from Jon's IEM... The live bootleg stream was much better and that's what the audience heard...

Listening to an audio vocal like that is like zooming into a mole or the pores on a pretty girls face... Sometimes a little distance is necessary... Would Jessica Alba still be as hot with a shaved head and a tee-shirt? Or is it the hair, make-up, and fashion style?

Same Deal!!!! You can't extract Jon's vocals from a live show and expect it sound like a million bucks... It's the music, band, acoustics, audience, etc... Jon did a nice job blending and mixing it all together... Part of what made the vocal so great was Jon knowing when to let the band and audience fill in parts... That doesn't showcase on a soundboard of only Jon's voice...

I'm ok with Everett Bradley doing his thing, some songs sound more full with him there, I'm ok with Shanks because I ****ing hate Bobby's playing, I didn't rly listen to something of the 2015 tour to see if I liked O'Ree but I'm happy with Shanks doing the guitars, he is a good guitar player. The worst thing, well, we all know what it is

I feel the same as you! I've met them both as well and they are super humble guys.
Maybe that's the difference. I like Bobby but not in Bon Jovi.

Thank you so much!

(Wonder what the band management will do about this though)

Was wondering the same.. I'm sure it will end up removed from YouTube so enjoy it while it's there!

A few other songs are up now too!

Totally agree...it really isn't a good mix - I could have done a better job than that. Hopefully they'll improve over time.

The Springsteen recording aren't rushed out; they spend time mixing them properly. I think I got mine about three weeks after the show but for a better listening experience I don't mind the wait.
