I've been watching videos and my tour shows start next week, but it seems to me Jon is just being careful, he spent by his estimation 1/3 of the last tour injured. I have no idea what kind of pain was involved in either injury, but my guess is it was fairly intense. It's pretty hard to blame the guy for not wanting to spend weeks on end hurting whilst trying to perform four shows a week.

Plus, he knows he has the big stadiums coming in summer, those shows will require him to perform "bigger" than he has to in the smaller indoor arena shows, so i get why he would tone it down and take it a bit easier on his body now.

Jon is the best frontman ever, he doesn't need to jump or run constantly to reach the audience. If someone's complaining about how he stands on the stage, it's going to be really difficult for him to find a frontman who fulfils his expectations. Everybody who's been to a bon jovi show would know that in my opinion.

Not difficult. Very easy. Jon Bon Jovi from 1984 till 2012. Mick Jagger, Bono, Anthony Kiedis...

But, Anthony injured himself on tour and ended up having to cancel/postpone an entire leg of the tour...I saw a few shows of their's and they were fantastic but Anthony is more reserved than in the past.

I saw them twice on last tour. First time was in Stockholm in the end of 2011 and the second one in Tampere in summer 2012. Anthony was great on both times

Oh I 100% agree, I saw there show a few times here in the US. Anthony has always been a wild man on stage but after his surgery on his foot, even he realized he has to tame it a bit. And Jon's not a complete statue, at least, he wasn't at the two shows I just saw in Florida.
