Default A Question for our Guitar Guys

Is this a new toy for Richie or an old one that's come out to play?

Yah I definitely seeing a guitar like this in the mid 90s. Certainly on the Wembley shows.

I don 't recall seing Richie play a 3 humbucker guitar since the 80's.
I think he used an SG that had the 3 hums ocasionally on the HAND tour.

Jon used a Black Les Paul during the KTF and Crush tours but it was a standard one with 2 hums.

Terri, in the photos...he is playing born to be my baby?

Hope Richie include in his guitar gear more Gibson or Fender like he used to do in past tours.

Let me check. Those pics were from Atlanta, and I can't recall for sure which song it was. I know he's used it on Sleep and also on Superman, if I remember correctly. This all got started when a YouTube friend sent me a link to a video - - and asked if I had any photos of Richie with the guitar he was using.

Ooh let us know if you remember anything else. I haven't seen him play Superman with anything other than his custom guitar. That'd be awesome if he's using a Gibson on it now. What show is the picture from, I'll help look.

In Atlanta he used it on Whole Lot of Leavin'. In Nashville and Charlotte he used it on When We Were Beautiful.

I don't have any pictures of it from Tampa, but since you mentioned Gibson and Fender, he used this for MAM and KTF in Tampa:

And he's been using this one during Prayer:
