Feel free to go see them if all you care about is a frontman doing aerobics. I don't care to. And I still want to know how YOU "know" how decrepit poor Jon is these days.

And is it just me or is Jon playing too much guitar these days ? not that he's no a good rhythm player, it's just that with bobby there he should be more hands free to be the frontman he's supposed to be. just my opinion though.
Agree with you on both subjects.

BTW, when Aerosmith was here in Atlanta last summer, they played for an hour and 15 minutes. Good tickets were over $200 + fees.

Bon Jovi was just here and played for 2 hours and 20 minutes. Good tickets were $139 + fees.

I love Kiss but I must say that Paul´s voice is very bad now. And I don´t think Steven or Mick run much more than Jon.
And one more thing...Aerosmith and Kiss play 15 - 17 songs every night, Bon Jovi play about 25 songs. It´s quite big difference.

i just said the drugs comment referring to the Stones, etc. because when i saw the Rolling Stones live, Mick sure as hell looked, sounded and acted like he was on drugs.

I know, I was at that BJ show It was amazing. Never seen Aerosmith live but i believe it.

Aerosmith was one of the biggest dissapointments I have ever seen live. Short show, Steven was high as a kite and his mid/lower range is destroyed. Joe still rocks and is just the coolest mother****er ever but that doesn't balance it out.

I wasn't at the Aerosmith show, but that's what was reported on a few message boards that I was reading.

That line was great. I agree with every single word.

Milomom, you are a living proof that a die-hard fan can also fully enjoy present shows with such repeatable set lists, even after seeing them so many times. I know you don’t like some of the song choices (like most of us) but you respect Jon’s decisions about that. And probably because of that you always witness something special from the band. You just appreciate those shows and take each one of them as they are and feel the music, enjoy the performance, vocals, lyrics. Because that’s what matters most. And somehow you still manage to take amazing pictures between all of that (by the way what camera do you use?)

I salute you (Thunderstrucker, sorry for borrowing that line for a second)

The camera is a Sony DSC-HX1. It rocks on still photos, but oddly enough the video sucks big time. I tried again in Atlanta, and the sound was horrible once again and the picture isn't very good either. Fortunately, I care about still photos.

Thank you for your kind words. I'd still give Jonny a good talking to about setlists if I ever got the chance , but I can't deny that I've had a great time at all of my shows so far on this tour. There's been no autopilot and no pissed off Jon anywhere to be seen. Those are the 2 things that will send me over the edge. On the last tour, I saw Jon totally shut down when something went wrong. I have not seen that this time around, and I'm very grateful.

Time to go home and pack for the next shows!
