Firstly, it was fantastic to see the band playing live and i cannot wait to see you in the O2 on saturday 19th June! However, i want an electric performance with a few acoustic songs playing 6 or 7 songs from the Circle, after all, it is teh album you are touring!

I agree with you here. I must admit Thorn In My Side was nothing but average for me on record but live I like it a lot and I think it really comes off well. The double lead solo at the end is cool and is something unique that the band has not really done live and really adds something to the songs as well. Same with Love's The Only Rule. I think Jon in particular, pulls this song off better vocally than most of us expected on a nightly basis.

I agree but also disagree with you on this one. Let me say first that by no means should Captain Crash still get rotated as heavily into the sets as it does; however, it goes back to Seb's setlist post a while ago about balancing the albums and making sure that all are represented and that setlists and songs truly get mixed up on a nightly basis. I wouldn't mind I'll Sleep When I'm Dead on occassion. Should it be a mainstay necessarily? Absolutely not.
Also, I like Raise Your Hands which has not made an appearance this tour yet. It's one of those songs that I have heard many of time and doesn't need to be in the set every night, but when it is I don't mind it. Unfortunately, for the majority of us, some feel that way about Captain Crash. Should the band completely ignore those who like the song? No but playing it every night or on the second night of a multiple night city is also uneeded but to say it should go altogether isn't necessarily true or right. Something like Summertime is a different story....

The band didn't seem to psyched to perform these songs in the first place and my guess is since they didn't get a big roaring reaction, I'd say the chances are minimal of these making the setlists at least in America. The O2 and possibly Giants are a completely different story (maybe even add Canada and Chicago to the known dates since these places are known to get more rarities as well).

Agree. Make Booby actually earn some of it and let him strum on the acoustic a bit. There's more to it than that though. Jon plays the acoustic guitar for almost the first half of the show because he WANTS to not because he has to for the song.

I'll raise you one step further. If you are going through the motions and trouble to stream nearly half the concert why not the whole f-cking thing? The stream was done for hype and to sell tickets. Anybody who tunes out of curiosity or is a casual fan isn't going to necessarily be sold on the first half of the show especially because it doesn't really pick up until We Got It Goin' On. Therefore, showing them the first half of the show isn't the best Bon Jovi they can see.

True and like I said, all albums should be represented in one form or another as well as mixed up so yes, Have A Nice Day has a number of songs they could play from time to time but let's set the record straight. One or two at maximum. It isn't the HAND tour nor the LH tour for that matter.

While a 28/29 song set is nice, it's not everything. You can mix the set slightly and still play about 25 songs and deliver a good performance and make casual fans and diehards happy at the same time.
Proof:
June 13, 2008, Amsterdam Arena, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Setlist:
1. Rockin' All Over The World
2. Lost Highway
3. Born To Be My Baby
4. You Give Love A Bad Name
5. Raise Your Hands
6. Runaway
7. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
~ Jumpin' Jack Flash
~ Gimme Some Lovin'
8. Whole Lot Of Leavin'
9. In These Arms (David Bryan on lead vocals for the first verse)
10. Diamond Ring
11. Always
12. Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars
13. Just Older
14. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
15. We Got It Going On
16. It's My Life
17. Keep The Faith
~ Sympathy For The Devil
18. I'll Be There for You (Richie Sambora on lead vocals)
19. Blaze Of Glory
20. Blood On Blood
21. Who Says You Can't Go Home
22. Have A Nice Day
23. Livin' On A Prayer
Encore I:
24. Stick To Your Guns (acoustic)
25. Wanted Dead Or Alive
Would you turn that setlist down because it only had 25 songs in it? Probably not. I know I wouldn't not only for the setlist but the way those songs were delivered on that particular night.
