Default Acoustic Debate

Here we go, i may get shot down for saying this but i dont care... i feel the band should tell people well in advance that this is an acoustic tour/show. I didnt pay huge money to see an acoustic show, now some people may argue that the band owns that stage and has the right to do that, but come on. They could have done every show on this tour like this and tell everyone ahead of time... i would have bought my tickets accordingly, like i said before they better not bring this stuff to Toronto or i will be very disappointed. FOR THE RECORD.... i Love acoustic songs and think its great however i am going with 3 people that have never seen Bon Jovi and i dont think they would like this that much.

You buy your ticket you see the show, so what if its acoutic. You are still paying for a BJ show at the end of the day. Acoustic/Electric who cares, whatever sort of show it is it will still be a good one!

Should they tell people ahead of time that Richie sings IBTFY? That was a HUGE, #1 song in the States that people love and have memories associated with--a la Jon singing it. For a lot of casual fans, that's one of their favorite songs because it's one they recognize. What they get at the show is not what they went in expecting.

People complain about the set list being the same, then complain when they do something drastically different. I, for one, would consider it a treat to see an acoustic show in part or entirity. Look at the shows from 1996, the way they did a little acoustic set in the middle. That was often the best part of the show. Bon Jovi SHINES acoustically.

I hope they do some acoustic stuff in Boston. I think it would amazing!!

I would LOVE it if one of the shows I'm going to see this summer were made acoustic. I have seen a bunch of shows this year and it would be a cool change. However, if I were only seeing one show all tour (as the majority of people do) and I was expecting a full-on electric show, I might be annoyed if they didn't announce it ahead of time.

If they would announce it long before the show the Scalper prices would raise in unbelievable heights. I think they want to prevent this.

At the ris of me becoming everything I hate.... I think they should change the acoustic set a little, maybe experimenting with some older songs that they've never played acoustic... Oooh, speaking of which, an acoustic set would be a great time to play Ride Cowboy Ride

i think Ride Cowboy Ride should be a regular for acoustic shows.....maybe even electric shows right before BOG if it keeps getting played

Why can't they do what they did mid nineties & have a mini acoustic set in the middle??

They r going a bit far with this acoustic stuff....

When buy a ticket that says 'Bon Jovi' that should read - rock show, with such hits as Livin on a Prayer / KTF etc....

Not - oh well - we might do an acoustic concert - i.e. a completely different show.

i think it was more to do with Kiel being a success - i don't think after yokohama they had any real plans to do acoustic gigs, and they just have this feeling now that they are great to play and for fans to watch

i think there should be warning, because for example if they did an acoustic tour i'd go and see 1 show... but i'd hate to buy for 3 shows in different countries, pay all the costs and then get acoustic each time
