For my two cents, the crowd in Minneapolis LOVED the show. Note that Bon Jovi played here in Feb., so a lot of people had already seen the standard BOUNCE show.
Everyone was very excited when they announced that they would play an acoustic set, and it flowed beautifully. Being that Bon Jovi played for over 2 hours, gave the fans the best of both worlds, I can't see why you would complain about it at all.
Ideally, acoustic is better suited for a small club, but believe me that they pulled it off with great success, and everyone I saw in attendance was more than happy with the acoustic surprise.

i think it would be great to go to a few shows on the same tour, ell electric except one. It would make that one show very special because it was very different. Whether you like acustic shows or not, it would be a different kind of experience, and if your a true bon jovi fan, then you will enjoy it no matter what.

I went to Tweeter and Alpine Valley, and thought the Minnie show was 10 times better, because it was acoustic. I consider myself to be very lucky to have attended this show. It was great to hear Dimond Ring and Something to believe in. I would have liked to hear a few more forgotten songs like these. I don't need Jon running around on stage to have a good time. A real fan would have enjoyed the music and the intimacy of the show.

I would have still bought a ticket and gone to the Toronto show...but i told 3 people that have never seen jovi that they would get a great energetic show, and they would know most of the songs. They had a great time in TO and when i asked them they were happy it wasnt acoustic. But to answer your question i would have gone with die hards.

I have been a Bon Jovi fan for 4 years, but I've never been to a Bon Jovi concert. Acoustic or not, I would still love to go to one. They made the choice to play an acoustic/electric concert because the fans wanted more. I still see people requesting an acoustic concert for both New Jersey nights.

IF a show id acustic. Its different and in the words of kathlene "different is good"!

It would be boring to see the same rock songs over and over...thats why i get bored of sleep and bad medicine... a blast of id die for you, never say goodbye etc... would be fantastic.

I think that those people lucky enough to be able to get to one of the acoustic/electric gigs in the U.S should be grateful for that chance. I would be over the moon for a chance to see Bon Jovi play a show like that. I was lucky enough to see them 4 times in the U.K this summer, and the addition of an acoustic set would have made the gigs all the more special. I was at Maine Road in '96 when they did the "mini" acoustic set in the middle of the gig and it was one of the best Jovi gigs i have seen.
