I dont understand as I have seen on Facebook etc a number of these so called "middle aged" fans as you call them do multiple shows and nearly all the Runaway Trips. In their show reviews they always say the crowd was "jumping" or "rocking" when going by the youtube videos it couldnt be further from the truth.

Also this behaviour isnt just restricted to thr US. I was in thd pit at all but one of the UK shows on the last tour and also one on mainland Europe. The only time the crowd get animated is when Jon comes close or on the walk way so the ladies can grab him!

Most people are too busy looking at it through their phones to do much else these days. Not that I'm not grateful for the footage that shows up, but not everyone shares it and everyone doing it detracts hugely from the atmosphere.

Jon looks seriously bored, especially during the guitar solo. The band actually sounds pretty good, but I guess this would be the song where Jon misses Richie the most, especially vocally. God, Shanks face just annoys the hell out of me...

This is horrible.
He has to stop playing the acoustic in order to concentrate on the singing. Furthermore, he's resorting to shouting the notes instead of singing it.
