That's probably why I never noticed, quite frankly! I absolutely LOVE the guitar work in BoR, and I'm sure that's a big part of why I detest the TLFR version so completely.

that's true--I hadn't thought of it that way before, but you're right. the cameras should all be on Richie during the guitar solo, but when Jon dances with somebody, it's all about him. hmmmm--good point.

I like Bed Of Roses better because I hate the Crossroad version of Always. The demo in the box set however, was ****ing awesome to the max.

I heard Bed Of Roses in 3 out of 4 concerts I went to. Only heard Always once (during the Crossroad to the East tour).

So my answer is Never Say Goodbye.

Really?
I actually like both versions somewhat, but the CrossRoad version has this huge epic feel that the demo is missing IMO.
And the CrossRoad solo kicks ass.
