-Americans are fatter. That's why jumping at shows is illegal in the US - due to health and security reasons as well as static rules.
-Economic standard is higher in the US than in, say, Brazil. If you got to a rock show and get to shield out all the problems for 3 hours, get a full on experience just as good as anybody else could hope for, you're gonna enjoy it more. Also...
-The US get more "top level" concerts, so you're pretty much spoilt.
