Default An Evening with JBJ- Fan Club Trip, Las Vegas Feb 25th

Just seen this posted on the Runaway Tours Twitter feed (I believe this is official from what I can remember):

Storyteller type show. I take it no actual questions from the crowd or he'll be fielding Richie questions all night and end up in a strop, play I Love This Town and Working Man then stomp off!

Nah, this is America. Most American fans haven't got the faintest idea who Richie Sambora is. Buuuut anyway.

With those fan events never, ever did anything even remotely interesting escape Jons mouth, or were any actual interesting questions asked. The people with the interesting questions aren't the ones who's paying so much money for these crappy solo shows from Jon. And unless you like Jon trying to do a poor mans Cohen and act like Dylan, there's not much interesting stuff going on there.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

if it even were a solo Show. The last JBJ Shows were Shows where he played cover Songs from other bands/singers instead of Songs from DA and Blaze.

When i would go to a jbj Show I would like to hear his Songs and not cover Songs. Cover Songs I can get way cheaper from the cover rock band from my City.

Well, if she's tired of him, she can send him my way. I'll keep him company!

Storytellers type doesn't mean he answers questions. Just that he tells something about Songs and Plays them. It's HIS decision about what he wants to talk.

Wow! Already? I really thought he would take a long break from music after this last tour. I really hope he announces another box set of old old old material. There is so much stuff needed in better quality.

This must be something Jon is doing as a favor to the fanclub and not necessarily his own choice. He'll probably do his usual Southside Johnny wanna be songs.

I'm 99 % sure it will be an acoustic thing like the one in San Fransisco August 2012. The set back then was:

1. Superman Tonight
2. Memory
3. Born To Be My Baby
4. Not Running Anymore
5. Old Habits Die Hard
6. Santa Fe
7. Livin' on a Prayer
8. Hallelujah
9. The Fighter

I think it's great that he's back at it already....although I'd rather it be some KOS shows or true 'solo' shows. I'm guessing he (or maybe the band) have a corporate gig in Vegas that week, hence this Tuesday night show.

Jon is probably going to work on private and corporated gigs all the way until the next album (a couple a private shows a month to keep him occupied and make some money - he has done that a lot during 2012 for example ) ... I imagine that, from time to time, the fan club will use his rehearsal time for a show opportunity (no hassle for Jon and money for the fan club ) .... Like Chris said it's probably not going to be a Q&A per se, more like Jon chatting in between songs (it could be good to witness though if you are local and you wouldn't have to pay 2 grands for it) they have done those sort of events for many years the fan club use the rehearsal time and the 'real' show the real reason why Jon is there will be after the FC event....
