I have no issue with him doing this but I wish they would do some FC shows where it was just the ticket you had to buy, even if it was $500 for this said event and opened to 400 pax instead of the usual 200 for the FC trips and $1800 for the privilege, they would make the same amount of money surely. I think they cut a lot of people out of the market making it for the FC trips only these days.

Remember Starland Ballroom, that show? That was great. But now that we have Runaway tours I'm not sure we'll see shows like that again on their own, not when they're clearly got the demand for these $1800 gigs now - it's smart I will give BJM that.

Bon Jovi's Runaway Tours just announced a trip to Las Vegas in late February. I'm doing a special presentation showing photos from the tour(s) and telling the stories behind them. Oh yea, there's also a private, intimate "Storyteller" type performance by that other guy whose name ends with "Bon Jovi." I hope you'll come join us!

This has new album/tour written all over it. Jon's already bored of being at home so he sets up a little solo show knowing that someone will ask him about a new album and he will say beginning of next year with a tour to follow.
Then richie announces he is releasing another solo album in sept/oct. With another solo tour so Jon moves album date forward.

These days it seems the best from Jon comes from these intimate acoustic shows (like San Fran 2012, Lincoln Center 2009, etc.). I would have loved to attend a show like this.

In bold the songs I'd love to hear live someday, I'd really love an acoustic solo tour with setlists like this but a little bit longer!

That's actually a setlist I wouldn't have expected (no Who Says etc.).
Still there are some real boring song in it, but I'd love to see some videos of Every Word or With These Two Hands appear
