In fact, I think itīs more of case that Bobby has now fully moved into the rectal space and over the years we will see Jon morph into a Bon Jovi/Bobby hybrid. That way he will be able to tour without Richie by singing and playing solos.

Really hoping some video turns up even though it was prohibited. Would love to see acoustic Every Word, Superman, and These Two Hands.

Right, because comparing an intimate acoustic q and a to a loud electric show is completely fair.

I am still not feeling the Sambora stuff as much as others on here (he is improving, but some are spunking all over him), but SuperBrad has a point though doesnīt he. It is not really about electric or acoustic either, it is more about attitude. However, Jonīs like of intimacy and breaking songs down does contrast to Richieīs need to rock out.

I donīt credit Richie for the rocking moments from the band over the years as Jon wrote those rockers too, but it is interesting as the way they perform now shows where they both are in their careers. Their attitudes at the moment reflect a similar thing, with Jon seeming calm and settled and Richie being hectic and a mess.

That's just interpretation though. With Jon - it's very simple. He can't rock anymore. The voice is gone. The hair is gone. He plays the guitar a whole foot higher than he used to...he's just turning into some kind of poor man's Bob Dylan. Yes - some of that is by choice. But am just wondering how much of that is?

Seriously, after seeing that setlist and Richie's Purple Rain performance, I'd prefer a JBJ/RS project over a new Bon Jovi album at this point. In an intimate setting, Jon also does some interesting stuff, and Richie seems to work a lot better when he's got a partner. But with Bon Jovi, both seem to see a need to fulfill expectations and play it as safe as it gets.
