iv heard its Rob thomas from a friend, says he read it ''somewhere'', didnt know if it was for the US or europe dates. But as MB20 did the deed before with jovi in europe it mite be a possibility.

Personally i would love to see Alterbridge or a british band like Muse or Feeder opening for them.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Aloha !

Personally I wouldn't want Muse or Alter Bridge. Alter Bridge just drags all the time just like Creed did, and Muse is not my cup of tea. I've seen Feeder live once, can't remember where though, think it was Bryan Adams or something, anyway, I wouldn't mind them doing the support for Bon Jovi. Can't see it happen though.

I am a massive muse fan, have seen them 4 times and stuff but i dont think they would open for bon jovi, ther styles of music are tottaly different, and by next june Muse will have there new album out and will proberly be big enough to play gigs that size themselves!

cant wait for the new muse album tho mind u, ive heard 4 of ther new songs and there all class, the epicness of muse continues!

a realistic possibility is rooster i think, theyd suit the bon jovi support slot i think, songs from have a nice day like unbreakable remind me of rooster aswell...

I Just read a thread on backstage that it's nearly confirmed to be Collective Soul. Which makes me happy cuz I love them. Seen em before, highly reccomend em.

That I would like. Seen them too - Good band.

First choice would be the Goos again, as next to Jovi, they're my favorite band. Rob Thomas would suck. With Matchbox Twenty, he's great. As a solo artist, forget it.

He does have a great body - would be VERY fitting with what the majority of the audience wants and cares about...

If it is Collective Soul I'd be hitting myself for not being able to go.

This is funny....I predicted months ago that Collective Soul would end up opening for Bon Jovi. When I posted such on backstage, all those wankers told me there was there was no chance in hell. Collective Soul would be an outstanding opening act. Not sure if they would open for another band though.

Really? The last three albums haven't sold very well. In fact they're more or less an indie band since they left their label. I'd say they're the perfect type of band for Bon Jovi.
