Default anger at new Wembley date!

i already had a post voicing my anger about being cheated out of the FIRST gig at the new Wembley but it was removed!

just wanna know if anyone else with crazy good tickets for wembley on the 11th are annoyed at the new date? Gold Circle tickets for the SECOND night at wembley dont sound quite as special to me!
My brothers and i are flying down from Edinburgh for the gig, thinking it would have a whole new buzz to it, then a key element is snached away by some stupid promoter!

I wanna be at the last concert in Europe more than I wanna be at the opening of Wembley.

If you were planning to attend a show simply because it was the first at a particular venue you are probably there for the wrong reasons. Personally I thought the idea of attending any concert was to hear a band live, not just to have something to brag about later. Maybe that's just me

Sorry guysI just don't see what the big deal is, i't still Bon Jovi, it's either the opening night of Wembly or the last show in Europe either way it's two kick ass nights of music, I think both nights will be pretty amazing, Bj usually goes all out when they play Wembly so..... as for the "tlfr crap" (i don't agree with this by the way) I would doubt any of the Stadium shows will have it, It goes over well in an arena, but I don't think it will translate to a huge stadium.

Can you not just have posted in the "2nd night announced" thread rather than creating another 2 threads in honour of this?

Its quite simple if it matters so much to you then buy GC for the Saturday instead, believe me there are still many people wanting tickets for the Sunday night (Im one of them!) so you'll be able to get rid of the Sun tix easily enough!

However organisers AEG defended the move, with Lives Senior Vice-President Rob Hallet explaining:

"I am sorry if anybody is disappointed who bought a ticket for the 11th simply to be at the new stadium for the first show. We took the view, given the band's massive popularity, that it was better to please all their true fans that couldn't get tickets than disappoint a tiny minority who just wanted to be able to say they had been to the first show at Wembley."

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."
