Richie loves to play. I'm guessing he would be fine touring year round. Wonder if he's playing his solo stuff or just being guitarist for Tyler etc...?

Quite a good performance, better than i was expecting actually. Is it me or was there a weird effect on Richie's microphone? Nice guitar as well, not seen that one before.

also, good news to hear Richie say he's working on a solo record and a band record, but you can see through it already "I'm working on a solo record, a little bit". I hope I'm wrong but i doubt it sees the light of day before a new Bon Jovi album.

wasn't listening that closely but didn't hear anything other than reverb and maybe a little echo. I love that guitar too, lovely sound for that kind of performance.

also, if Jon and Richie are already working on a new jovi record... that ain't a two year break...

Not now... and probably not for a while.

If they do release an album it's probably just an excuse to get back on the road again.

Richie said months ago in an interview that after the tour Jon and he would take a vacation but they wouldn't need a long break before they'd get anxious to start working on another album. They still are hoping for the gold ring (Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame). I think he even mentioned that after 3 weeks or so they'd start songwriting. If you add up weeks of writing, weeks of demos, weeks of recordings / mixes, weeks of picking the final songs, weeks of market planning, weeks of promotion, weeks of tour planning / marketing, interspersed with appearances ....it will be a 2-year break from a major Bon Jovi tour.

In the meantime, it was cool seeing Richie perform with Hugh and Lorenza. If Jon can do "JBJ and Friends," so can Richie. Yay. I hope his obviously good health translates into lots of music and performing. I like seeing him take the lead.
