Default any chance of good shows continuing in US?

We didn't go see any shows on the early US leg because quite simply the new album is pretty lame overall and the setlists were mostly crap.
Of course the European setlists are a whole new story, I would love to see the kind of show they are getting. I am thinking of travelling to Detroit and am wondering if it will be a boring US style show or a great UK style show. I just got an HD camcorder as well, but don't want to travel and all that hassle for a shit show.
thoughts?
Dave

Well, we'll do our best to give them a good send off on Saturday so that they arrive back home in a good mood.

They must be aware of all of the positive feedback since the set lists were changed. I hope they keep things as they are so that you guys get to experience the same thing.

By the way, what's security like at gigs in the States when it comes to taking in cameras and recording equipment?

Remeber night 1 was cut short due to the thunder and lightning. There would have been a longer encore, and I think These Days was the original first song in the encore, but Prayer was played and the show ended.

I agree with you on that. Every night they did the same thing. After all of the shows, the longest set was 25 songs in the US. I think they were just trying to please the rich fair-weather fans that paid 1,000$. After looking back, they played prayer, LH, bad name, HAND, who says you can't go home, wanted, WGIGO, Whole lotta leaving, I love this town, it's my life, sleep when i'm dead, medicine w/ shout, Faith, memory, Glory, the lame BOR, and I'll be there for you W/ Ritchie EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. it got soooooo old. When going to the shows you lost the excitement of wondering what they were gonna play.

They changed it up slightly more than that.
