Default Anyone Else Getting Sick of Waiting?

Don't know about anyone else but I'm starting to get really anxious about the summer stadium tour dates. Not because I'm trying to plan a vaccation around Giants or any of the major stuff some of you other guys are trying but just for the sake of knowing if they'll be back in the Toronto area this summer. I keep thinking that they've got to announce the dates soon but so far not even a peep about it on the official site so I'm starting to wonder ... will there be a summer stadium tour? With Richies broken arm and martial problems etc. etc. will the band want to call it quits for this tour after Europe?(I REALLY hope not!) I'm trying to think about ticketing schedules to figure out when the dates will be announced. The tickets for the January 23rd Toronto show went on sale in early September so thats almost 5 months in advance. If the same procedure were used for summer dates we'd be looking at August now. However back when they palyed the Amphitheatre on the Bouce tour I can't remember tickets going on sale much before May and they played in July so that cuts 3 months off there. Anyway mostly just thinking bout loud here but I'm really hoping to hear something soon .... starting to wish I lived in Europe!

it is frustrating about when they are going to release the dates for the summer shows. I know for a fact that they are coming back for summer shows, not only from hearing Jon himself saying they would be back in different cities(philly boston giants) but I have talked to some people that work at some of the stadiums that have said they know for sure there is something in the works for summer shows but have not heard definite dates.

I have the insert from the philly inquirer from 2003 for the summer Bouce tour, along with the email from american xs, the dates were announced in the beginning of april I believe and the tickets went on sale mid month to about the end of the month. I just wish they would give us definite dates so everyone can plan everything they need to

Well yesterday on the backstage board there was an 18 page thread because everyone thought that WMMR in Philly would be announcing Bon Jovi dates. They were advertising "a major concert announcement from a local friend of the station" or something like that and everyone thought it would be Jovi. Then I guess a station in Wisconsin also had a major announcement yesterday and people flooded them with calls thinking it would be Bon Jovi.

Well according to a post on there someone called the radio station and said how they were disappointed that the announcement wasn't BJ... and the deejay said they DO have Jovi dates but they were asked not to say anything until April 10th which is next Monday.... Now if this is true or not I don't know but this is what I have read... I think someone asked the Oompas if on April 10 they would be announced but of course they said no.... but they could be lying....

I hope it is soon... It definitely will be sometime in April. Hopefully the beginning of the month. Fingers crossed

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Just keep in mind that US dates usually don't go on sale that far in advance. I just bought tickets for show that went on sale only 5 weeks before the concert. It seems two months in advance is normal for shows to go on sale. That's not so bad really--how long have people had tickets for Wembly? Maybe if they'd waited until closer to show time, there wouldn't be so many disappointed fans right now.

Hooonestly? Naw. This isn't bad of a weight after all. After waiting for the acoustic album, then box set, then new record, months and months of hearing nothing, this is a cakewalk.

But still, I'm achin for a new show.

Yeah - it is what it is. I am very much looking forward to the summer shows though. I haven't quite gotten enough of a fix to last me a while.

I agree.

Seeing as how final exams start in a little over a week, I have far more important things to think about at the moment than concert dates. However, this doesn't stop me from checking the Rogers Centre website every few days...just in case
