Most markets are having this competition where opening bands can submit demos for the spot.

that competiton will most probably be for the 1st slot, therel most definately be a more higher profile slot on next before bon jovi.

Theres been 2 opening acts when iv seen them before on the crush and OWN tour.

Live were pretty well known, in that i mean they were a signed band and big in the States and had been around for years and so i guess thats why it was just them last tour.

theres other threads here about support acts, have a look. names that are floating about include rob thomas and collective soul.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

The American gigs in arenas only ever have 1 support band so don't expect to see a more high-profile band announced because it ain't gonna happen!

Agreed. The tour starts in what, a week? If there was going to be a higher profile act, it'd of been announced by now. By the time the tour gets to Europe, i'll be different, I assume. Hell even by the time they get to Toronto in January, we'll probably have a different opening act.

Sugarland is probably the supporting act in Nijmegen (or so the city Nijmegen says).

Rumours about Robbie Williams in Wembley ---- It was on radio Donna in Belgium last week. Couldn't really believe it and nothing was said on the internet, so I emailed the radio station and the answer was a 'bit' different then what they said on the radio : Bon Jovi has asked Robbie, but he still has to say 'yes' ... Well, that is a big detail in my opinion ... Seeing Robbie isn't the easiest person on earth :P ... Anyhow- he is doing a show in Belgium 2 days after Wembley.

So basically - Sugarland could be true ... Robbie, not that sure

Please NOT Robbie Williams. I couldn't stand all his smug looks to camera and the constant 'I was the first to play wembley' crap in the media

I cant stand him. I'd probably go to the bar if he came onstage, he's an annoying little pleb.
I couldn't stand reading the papers the day after too... there would be a 5-page special on 'Robbie at Wembley' and then two sentences about BJ in the bottom corner.

Please don't let it be him. Rob Thomas I would really like.
