Well, actually it's pretty obvious that they couln't cope with real band anymore.
They should be with a band that reflects their current style of rock. Collective Soul would compliment them PERFECTLY. Smash Mouth is far too pop. Who wants to see a pop summer time happy happy band in the middle of winter..

Goo Goo Dolls would probably be best fit to BJ's current sound, but of course they did it last time round, so someone else will have to do it this time ... I dunno, moern rock bands are ten-a-penny a the moment, so it shouldn't be too hard to find someone

NO GOOS! They had their tour. This isn't the Bounce tour again. People keep complaining about the same shows with the same songs but want to see The Goo Goo Dolls again? We need a new act. Collective Soul are an awesome band who fought their record company who support pop and rap artist. Then they left the company, released their last record themselves, and paid for everything. They are what is defined as a true rock and roll band, real artist and deserve the attention. The Goos are great but its time to let a band like Collective Soul 'Shine'

Be good to see Matchbox 20 for the Europe gigs or even just UK and Ireland but since Rob is doing his solo thing and the guys are quite a bit away from a new album together looks unlikely that will happen. I will take anyone as long as its not Live again, Velvet Revolver who have the best hard rock album out at the minute would be awesome but somehow I don't think they would fit the Jovi crowd at all, as long as its someone decent I'm not bothered.

First off, Smash Mouth are not crap, they have some good stuff.

Collective Soul would be perfect for this tour, however. If not them, then Rob Thomas is my choice.

holy crap, dont you guys think that bon jovi should have chosen their opening band by NOW?? you'd think, but i guess not.

i wouldn't mind seeing matchbox 20 (or rob thomas) or goo goo dolls again. i love ggd. there are so few good, current rock bands these days. so many of them are crappy Emo Screamo bands or...idk, they just don't exist.

i think for the next tour bon jovi should team up with Springsteen. just a fantasy of mine can't hurt to dream.

party on wayne,
party on garth,
