never heard of collective soul or smashmouth- think they'll only be up in the states... franz ferdinand is way to alternative imho... rob thomas would be great i guess- in austria i'd go for tamee harrison for some not so obvious reasons just kidding! i'd find it great if they brought some american guys over here - some who are famous across the pond but unknown here- i'd kill for having john mayer, dave matthews or keith urban here!

ahh.. mr urban eh? thats possible if hes available.

cant see dave mathews, way to different a sound to BJ.

Rob thomas would fit in well overall..

Another names people have mentioned (for the europe leg) that may work are rooster - very similar def-leppard esque sound to them, just ignore their image! i heard their new song on the radio and thot ''whos this, its good'' then when i found out i was like ''ohh..ermm..but its rooster..''

Train would be a good act aswell.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

they are actually pretty good live, even though you'd never want to listen to an album. I was quite surprised...

I've heard that they are a good live act. But that's mostly been from those Franz worshippers.

Anyway, nothing's confirmed yet. No need to worry for a while.

No way (as much as id like to see) will FF support, well def not in the uk anyway. They can headline major festivals on their own and tbh they prob wouldnt want to be associated with BJ.

Never heard of Collective Soul or Smash Mouth so I guess we're talking about the US leg. For the UK I'd love to see Journey, Neal Schon is such an amazing player.

I've seen Velvet Revolver, they are utterly shite live, you can't hear any of the instruments, just a mess with Scott Weiland shouting over the top of it. I hope it's not Rob Thomas as Matchbox 20 supported BJ on the OWN tour, I've never been so bored in all my life. He's such a gay, bland frontman. As for the guy waxing lyrical about all the great bands who've supported Bon Jovi over the years. I remember Matchbox 20, Crown Of Thorns, Rockhead, Ricky Ross need I go on. The only 2 good bands I've seen support Bon Jovi are Van Halen (Going through the motions) and Skunk Anansie. Oh and Thunder were entertaining in a Status Quo kind of way. Oh sorry I forgot Van Halen were (cough, cough) co-headlining according to Eddie.

I think Journey would be up for it as they never tour the UK and Neal Schon has talked about getting on a Bon Jovi tour before. I think they'd be good but after saying that I like Live and they were a bit of a let-down supporting on the Bounce tour.
