It would be great to hear In & Out Of Love again, although I will miss Richie Fking Sambora, that bastard so cool.

If the band actually does play Let It Rock,Shot Through the Heart and In and Out Of Love then it'll be a miracle if Jon gets through those songs in one piece unless he may resort to using a polished backing track. The thing with his current voice is he just doesn't have the right pitch/tone or even breathe control to pull off these songs.

Shot through the Heart and Let It Rock worked during the Circle Tour because Jon still had a pretty good tone and range but with Jon's current vocal condition it's a given that he will definitely butcher the rarities like so the usual songs.

JBJ (2020): "If it was up to me, I'd have all 10 songs [from 2020] in the show.
And obviously I want to play 'Livin' on a Prayer' and 'Wanted Dead or Alive' every night, but my fans are accepting of the new records. And while they may not be on Top 40 radio, the albums still always come in at No. 1. We've been blessed to stay pretty current for a kind of classic, vintage band. We are in that rarefied air with a handful of guys that I always looked up to who still make No. 1 records and want to write new songs."

I truly believe our biggest hint for the tour setlist is the "Drive-In" show from the last year. So I guess the setlist is going to be something like this on 90 %

01.Beautiful Drug
02.Do What You Can
03.You Give Love A Bad Name
04.Born To Be My Baby
05.Limitless
06.We Weren't Born To Follow
07.Lost Highway
08.Who Says You Can't Go Home
09.Story Of Love
10.Bed Of Roses
11.Let It Rain
12.It's My Life
13.Have A Nice Day
14.This House Is Not For Sale
15.Just Older
16.Keep The Faith
17.I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
18.Bad Medicine
Encore:
19.Wanted Dead Or Alive
20.Livin' On A Prayer

I know the songs are tuned half a step down live (some like ITA are even more), so I was wondering why they haven't tried a full step down for all the songs to see if it would help.

I'm no vocalist so I have no idea but I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet.

I really hope they don't play DWYC. It's so out of date I really don't see the point.

I don't think it would make much difference, his middle register is one of the weakest points of his voice now

Exactly this. The main issue with his voice isn’t his range, it’s that thin and shaky tone and since the middle register is the weakest part of the human voice anyways it gets particularly bad in that register. I’d even go so far and say that the strongest part of his voice nowadays is still his upper range because he’s forced to change his technique and project his voice more when he wants to hit the high notes.

I think like most, I would prefer the majority of the setlist to be taken from older material (for me, Bounce and before) but I'm realistic. Jon and/or the band prefer to play a decent amount of the more modern material.

Given Jon's struggles with his voice, I wonder if that increases the chances of seeing David sing In These Arms. I've enjoyed the live recordings I've seen online and the version on Lunar Eclipse, so I'd love to see him sing it live. It would probably be sensible to let Phil X take the mic for a song and I wouldn't mind if he played one of his own. Hell, why not let Tico sing Only in my Dreams?

Another thing I'd enjoy that would help with Jon's voice which someone else also mentioned is extended versions of songs. I thought Keep the Faith was one of the highlights of the drive-in gig. I'd absolutely love extended versions like they used to play on the New Jersey tour, particularly Blood on Blood, but I think that's pretty unrealistic. I imagine Jon sees that stuff as a thing of the past when they were younger and Alec and Richie were part of the band.

I'd be very happy if they played some rarities from any pre-Crush album, or failing that from Crush or Bounce. I'd also love to see Jon on the harmonica at the end of BTBMB or These Days like he used to do, but I imagine that's also a pipe dream.

Hey, I can dream!

You should have stopped dreaming about those things a lot of years ago
