Default Are Bon Jovi touring the UK at the moment?

Of course they are!!!! But you wouldn’t ****ing know it would you????
I think they need to sack their PR people.
Not a single review in a national paper (yet), only in local ones.
If Coldplay or U2 have a shit, fart or burp you know about it in 5 mins

Bon Jovi are the most popular unfashionable band in the world

i see massive posters everywhere for other bands.
although at Liverpool st station they do have advertising all along the ticket barriers which looks cool.

Bon Jovi are massive but they could be bigger - they need to be in your faces like coldplay, U2 etc but they seem quite content to be in the background. maybe they feel they dont need it anymore and want to take a step back from all the media?

There was a review in The Times the day after the Southampton show.

I saw a couple of reviews, one in the 'News Of THe World' and the other in 'The Sun'.

Both were shit and took up all of 20 lines of text, hardly a review. Suppose thats the tabloids for ya!

How can they get any bigger? They've done everything there is to do and even after all these years they're still kicking arse and selling shed loads of tickets for their arena and stadium shows. And when you have a back catalogue of quality songs like they do, you can afford to take a step back from the media and the hype of the music industry..they have nothing to prove to anyone.

I think the fact that they've sold out pretty much every UK gig speaks for itself. They don't need to be splashed all over the papers, their reputation as a live act draws in the crowds no matter what.

I think it speaks volumes that the fashionable and 'cool' Foo Fighters only sold 2/3 to 3/4 of their tickets at the City Of Manchester Stadium when they're very much in the public eye and yet Bon Jovi pretty much filled the place with very little promotion.

Can't comment on Manchester but the Foos pretty much sold out Wembley for the 2 nights they played and blew the f*cking roof off! (if you class that thing as a roof anyway)
The Foo Fighters are fashionable and cool..but let's not confuse them with the same 'coolness' that Coldplay and U2 exude....
