Lets not confuse Coldplay with the coolness that U2 exude, either, for that matter

No gig is ever 100% sold out...but it was absolutley rammed on Saturday as they announced this date first and, of course, you had the rumours of the Led Zep appearance bumping up ticket sales

The Friday was announced after the Saturday sold out and suffered in comparison..was still a good turn out though.

Like someone mentioned, the fact that the UK tour is doing so great, thats all they need. Also I have seen reviews to just about every U.K. show.

the ricoh was nearly full but the local paper had it at 34'000,strange that for a concert the capacity is in the region of 42'000

coldplay are boring whiners

and there was huge billboards all over coventry for months prior to the event and i even saw tv ads promoting the tour
