Default are cameras allowed in the pit?

im going to hyde park with gold tickts, and just wondered if the security is tighter with ppl on the pit using cameras, cos i love taking pics and would be annoyed if they ripped the film off me!

LOL, better hide it well .
I heard you can also buy a disposible camera with a BJ related print on it. But when you get them developped (?) you can say bye bye to your camera.......

You can take cameras in the pit , you can take cameras into the venue. As long as they arent professional ones with attachments they dont care. In 2001 i took my zoom camera in and they didnt say nothing, to say i got some great pictures from that camera and no one batted an eye lid.

Originally cameras aren't allowed at all. You always take the risk that they are taken away from you. No matter where your spot is.

But a lot of times it is okay to take a small camera without a zoom with you.

You can try, but the risk that they are taken away is always there. It's your own decision if you want to take the risk.

I have been in the pit a few times and always got my camera in with a zoom lens...I always hide it somewhere on me...normally down my sock because they tend to check your bags!! At Milton Keynes last time it was in my bag and they let me through with it so you shouldn't have a problem. Just make sure your zoom lens isn't a foot long!!

They're more concerned about people taking bottles in with them than cameras. I took mine to every show i've been to, and noones said a word about it.

If you're referring to the MK show in 2001 Aly, then I'm not surprised you didn't get questioned about your camera - the whole security and organisation of the event was a joke! Apparently, according to my friend's dad who was waiting outside the Bowl for the show to finish (he was our taxi), the gatesmen and police completely left the entrance unattended from about half way through BJ's set so if you'd have turned up late without a ticket, you still could have seen half the main performance for free!!!!!! Take's the piss really not least because of the danger caused from overcrowding the venue!
