Default Are They Building Up for a Full 'Slippery' Night?

By my reckoning with 'let it rock' being played last night we are only 3 songs away from a full 'slippery when wet' play through!

Only 'social disease', 'without love' and 'wild in the streets' left to play.

It's on folks!

I honestly think they might. Though that would mean two of my least favorite BJ tracks (Without Love and Social Disease, which I consider their worst ever track) would be played, I still think it would be really awesome to do.

I think that's exactly what's going to happen. I don't see a full play of The Circle, but with "Let It Rock" being played finally, anything is possible. I'm not keen on "Without Love" either, but in the context of a full album play it would be awesome.

And as an extra cherry on top, they should play "Edge Of A Broken Heart". I said it, anything is possible now. Lol

Social Disease?? Pure rock song, I like a lot. The melody isn't great but the riff kicks ass and the lyrics are perfect This was last performed in Hammersmith Odeon 1990-01-10.

Without Love is also a great song imo. I'm addcited to 80s so that might be it This one has never been perfomed before!! It would be the second song ever (after Open All Night from Bounce) which would be first performed years after having been released.

I think they should play New Jersey as whole. All of the songs apart from 99 In The Shade were performed in the last two years. If we count Stick To Your Guns Homebound Train was done by Richie,Wild Is The Wind and Living In Sin are usually played few times a tour, only Ride Cowboy Ride was played last in 2001 but I think that they have done it after this year, not sure though. Love For Sale was done this tour few times and the rest is played every night

I hope they do it,granted I wont be there to witness it first hand but the videos would help heal that sorrow.
I must admit I really liked Without Love though .(One of the few id say)

I really like the midpart of "Without Love". Not a bad song, but should've been replaced by "Edge Of A Broken Heart"...

And "Social Disease" is quite cool too. Lyrics are clearly Springsteen-inspired...

I agree, a full play of "New Jersey" would be massive. Didn't they rehearse "99 In the Shade" on the last or the current tour, or was that just rumours?

Funny how many people don't lke Social Disease. It's Bad Medicine with some trumpets.

Without Love is a hidden gem. Great guitar solo, and the extended version, while only a few seconds longer, adds something to the song.

On Bruce Springsteens last tour for the last 15 or so nights he played 1 of his first five albums straight through.

This is more likely to happen, though I had my heart set on a full play through of The Circle.... oh well :/

I did too. Don't get me wrong I'd love to hear Slippery all the way through. I just thought it was more likely that they would play the current album all the way through first. Every song eventually got played off HAND and Lost Highway had everything played one night - why not The Circle?
