With all due respect, the articles being posted here are just duplicates of what's already been posted.

With all due respect, they still indicate that the story is spreading.

Good work.

With all due respect you would be just as pissed off if they were playing an hour or so from you but you couldnt afford to go because of these prices.

I actually could afford to go. There are a few £45 seats which are probably worth paying for (if you could guarantee anything of an atmosphere on the upper tier), £75, even £100 is worth paying for a SPECIAL gig, but £200 & the hospitality take the piss. To buy any seat would be to encourage further bad behaviour. After 14 shows, and the guarantee that all this would add is a few new songs, I just can't get excited enough.

fair enough i could afford a nosebleed seat. I have one ticket in a half decent spot for the 02 which my mum bought me for xmas. I would like to be able to go to more shows as i have in the past, but im priced out.

Not sure what you mean about the atmosphere though - y'know, at a stadium show I've always had a better time in GA than in the fanclub bit with the "fans" who are too busy bitching about being 1 foot closer to to the stage. At least at the back there's none of that, you're just there to enjoy the f'ing show. Haven't been to the 02 but I'm hoping it will still be a great atmosphere at the back.

I think it's great that The Sun etc. are writing about this but what I don't like is that all these articles focus on those platinum tickets etc. I think they are missing the point that we fans think the other, especially the £200-, tickets are way too expensive, too, and that you have to pay more to see BJ from somewhere in a dark corner at the other end of the arena than up front at a Green Day or Prince show.

All I want from a show is a decent view, decent sound and the freedom to stand up and dance.

I've enough experience that I don't need to see the whites of the bands eyes, in fact will often seek a space away from a thick crowd, but...

Even in the pit at a Jovi stadium show, I've had people tap my friends on the shoulder to reprimand them for harmless pogoing. Been part of the only couple dancing on the floor to Cecilia at Paul Simon. Been told to sit down so many times. Felt awkward singing along because the people around me are so ****ing quiet.... It makes a difference.

I also don't like the fact that many in the media will use this "excuse" to poke fun at the band in any other aspects and not focus just on what the real issue is.
