?? Who's Ritchie? Some new guy in the band? Still talking tough eh? Seriously, I still am not going to get hostile so you're wasting your time. Ooh you've been to a lot of concerts. GREAT. Look, it's not our fault you have high expectations. You know what to expect at recent jovi shows.

I see your point about TD though. The public didn't want it and shunned it 10 years ago, so of COURSE if they re-released it remastered with a new track, they'll jump for joy in the streets, cure cancer, and end world hunger. You're SERIOUSLY naive if you think it'll be accepted by all if they brought it back.

Look. Here's the point. You love the album. Great. So do I. It's just not realistic to do what you're saying. You're over-reacting about the show.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with this show. I was at this show as well as Milwaukee the night before. The Milwaukee show by far kicked Soaring Eagle's ass for sure. Jon was all over the stage that night. I had sucky seats in Milwaukee and enjoyed the show more. I will also say the crowd in Milwaukee was 40,000 plus while Soaring Eagle was not even sold out so less than 10,000. The crowd in Milwaukee was way more rocking than Soaring Eagle. I will agree with you that Jon seemed to be very lethargic at the SE show but I disagree that he sounded horrible. Much of the show did you notice his obvious problems with his inner ear monitors, same for Richie and same for Hugh. Richie was actually getting wrong guitars from Lumpy his guitar tech so he was not a happy camper either and was throwing his guitar picks. This was not a tour show and the they were contracted by the casino to play for 90 minutes. The casino doesn't allow acts to play for longer than 90 minutes because they want folks gambling. And yes, Richie was at the hotel and soundcheck but late getting out to the stage for whatever the reason so it was him that caused the late start time. All in all the show was "good" but yes, well below there normal standards. Richie and Jon both messed up lyrics. Richie started to sing the wrong verse in Raise Your Hands And Jon forgot some words to Who Says You Can't Go Home. And speaking of that song, it's not a country song but was adapted to add Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland and make it a duet. Don't you remember Jon saying at the show that there are two versions of the song, "the right version" and the "country version" The country version will be an extra track on the US version of the HAND cd. Unfortunately, bad days happen to good bands. I'm just sorry it had to be this show for you. I doubt I would have gone to this show had it not been my birthday. My expectations were low since it was a non tour show. I can tell you now don't ever expect to hear anything from the 7800 record. Jon has said many times he doesn't like the record. And I love These Days but it was a failure in the US so again, we probably won't ever get that many songs from that record which is unfortunate as it is one of my favorites.

Bon Jovi will be back in Michigan for the regular tour. I say give them another shot with the new record. I don't think you or your fiancee will be disappointed again.

Tone down the testosterone, friend. Enough with the age refrences. Oooh You've been a fan for a lot longer than me. Give yourself a big pat on the back. You may be way older than me but you're being WAY less mature about all this. Calm the **** down, THEN we'll talk.

Our points differ, fine. We agree to disagree and move on from here. Do you plan on still posting around here or did you just register to slag off the band?

Aloha !

What the fvck is this all about? I'm sure it's possible that the band sucked, or that Jon was below standards, but the arguments that follow just don't make sense.

These Days has already been released as a remaster, so what's the point in releasing it again with a few other tracks? It would be considered a rip off. And indeed, it's already 10 years old. What's the point in releasing it all over again? It wouldn't get the attention you think it'd deserve anyway, because it was a flop in America in the first place. And it would distract the attention from the new album.

If you really thought you could expect songs from These Days and Fahrenheit you must've been sleeping all those other times you've seen Bon Jovi.

This really is a stupid pointless discussion.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Look most of the people here are willing to listen to a good complaint and take it on its merit.

It is quite possible that the show to you was cr*ap .. I wasnt there I dont know. I do agree it is up to the front man to put on a great show each and every time. Obviousely there were some problems and I think Jon cant disguise his annoyance at problems.

The thing is no good getting all pissy over peoples ages here. Theres a mixture of ages and differing tastes in music.

I love "These Days" but would rather die than have "had me at hello" played anywhere near me.

stop with the insults and keep with the facts.

Kat

I echo everything Supersonic just said.

And I'd like to add that no one here is going to feel sorry for you if you come in and belittle and threaten other fans based on age and money. So, let us all understand, you're old and you have a job. Wow... I'm impressed. You're really going to kick someone's ass because they don't agree with you? That's pretty easy to say when you're sitting behind your computer threatening someone halfway around the world.

You are throwing a hissyfit becasue they didn't play your favorites. I guarantee you if they DID play a piece of crap like Thank You for Loving Me, there would be much more complaining on this board than if they didn't do it. You may think a song like that is where Bon Jovi's true talent lies and others of us think it's was poured right out of a bottle of Big Ballad Formula #29. So you applaud that marketing debacle and demean an attempt to reach another fan base with a country duet. And did they even play the duet version? Does the duet version even sound different from the original other than Jennifer's vocals?

And before you attempt to kick my ass through the computer screen, you should realize I'm old and I have a job too. LMAO

I don't give a rats a@s if Jon was hung over, he owed it to the people that paid top dollar to see that show! Good, now give me someone a little more intelligent to talk to ok little one?

Red Rocker all theeeeeeeeeee way, A@s
Thanks for confirming what I already thought after your first post. I'm sorry but I don't think you deserved a better show.
And just because you needed to bring it up yourself. It might have been a lot earlier that you have shat your diapers (and I'm sure you did that, too), but you don't seem to have learned half as much about mutual respect and communicative behaviour in double time than some twens around here.

As for you canuck, eat shit punk, tough talk for a little one that won't say where he is from! And you young girl, don't feel sorry for me, my fiancee feels just as bad if not worse! She was horrified with the show, BJ were her favorite artists, SHE picked the song for our wedding, I agreed to go along with it, I liked it, now, she won't even listen to the bands music, and sorry young canuck punk, ...
Holy Shit!! Lay off the drugs dude.

.... sorry man, if your fiance picks songs for her 'perfect wedding' based on some albums she's heard you drooling over and when she actually sees the band live her world falls apart and the songs turn meaningless and her perfect wedding is ruined.... ..... again... holy shit.... good luck to the both of ya.....
