OK here is my two cents worth. I went to Michigan to see this show. It did start late, Richie was upstairs and was the cause of the late start, the mics and earphones were messed up, when Jon mic worked he actually sounded strong voiced.
Jon was not feeling well or up to par that night. He struggled to find energy. I've heard various things he apparently has a back problem recently as he needed the massage machine after the show. I di hear the hangover theory but I doubt it he could have gotten drunk as a skunk at Brew_HA and still had time to sleep it off, so something else was wrong. He was very upset at the mic earphone thing and he did let it show.
Richie didn't have a great night either. he played well but his vocals were off and he struggled.
The two that had the best night were Dave and Hugh, both of them were in the groove and playing well.
I will say this for Jon, he was having an off night but he kept trying. You could see him between songs talking himself into it.
Overall it was a decent BJ show not up to tour standarda by any means but not horrible.
The length was the same as almost all non-tour shows an hour and a half.
As for the 7800 songs dude what planet do you live on?? Jon has made no bones he hates that record and will never ever play it live period. He's been saying that for like 15 years now.
these days has never been a record they play much here in the States. Jon just leaves it alone unless they are doing an acoustic set. (He did do a couple from it in Minneapolis, i was thrilled because I'd never heard them live before)
As for Mr Hagar I sure as hell hope he does better as a solo than the huge rip-off show I saw last year when he was back with Van halen!!! Now there is a bunch of guys I'll never give a dime to again. Talk about collecting the money and running.

Period! Like I said, I have been a BJ fan longer than either of you were sucking on your thumbs or crying to have your diaper changed! Needless to say, you both are entitled to your opinions. Perhaps you and Captain Jovi might want to hook up for a one night stand and play "Gimme Something For The Pain" or perhaps "Lie To Me". "These Days" was recorded and released for 1995, in a time when Grunge was ruling the world. Just like Def Leppard did with the album "Slang". Mind you, They sang a song from Slang 2 weeks earlier to the BJ concert, but of course, neither of you would know, because you haven't been to one of those performers concerts. Let me ask, Have either of you been to a Aerosmith concert from the 80s, or even the 90s and then again with KISS in 03? How about, The Black Crowes? Maybe Motley, or get this, How about Pearl Jam in 03 promoting Riot Act? Didn't think so. BJ sucked at Soaring Eagle Casino, PERIOD! Biggest ripoff in my history! PERIOD! As for you canuck, eat shit punk, tough talk for a little one that won't say where he is from! And you young girl, don't feel sorry for me, my fiancee feels just as bad if not worse! She was horrified with the show, BJ were her favorite artists, SHE picked the song for our wedding, I agreed to go along with it, I liked it, now, she won't even listen to the bands music, and sorry young canuck punk, BUT, Ritchie was thee show!!! He was his usual self. David was his usual self! The others? No clue as to who the hell they were! Good day mate, and to you young missy, sorry if I offended you, but please look at it from my fiancees point of view and what she pictured as a traditional perfect wedding and not my critiqueing! Take Care, RR
Hahahaha youre having a laugh. I'm not a fan of Def Leppard, Aerosmith or any of the rest of the bands you mentioned. Why would I go and see them, why does it matter. I'm a fan of Bon Jovi, this is a Bon Jovi message board and you critcised them using wafer thin arguments.

I am not even female and certainly not young. How do you know how long I've been a fan? Why does it matter where I'm from? And why would the band want to re-release These Days with a couple of new cuts. Would that not be Jon just being a businessman, trying to resurrect something from 10 years ago to make some cash. Lets even assume that it would be a success (which it wouldnt), but wouldnt the decision to re-release a 10 year old album with a couple of new tracks just be an attempt to rip the die hard fans off so the band could line their own pockets?

You are a joke, and if you want to use your hard earned money to come and attempt to kick my ass, I'm currently in Melbourne. Thats in Australia by the way!!! By the way, where in America did they make it legal to marry your cousin?

He called someone Missy, not once but a few times. That speaks volumes within itself.
