I missed out on tickets. I'm in Melbourne. I am so devastated!!! I have been a fan for going on 15 years. I will still go to the music bowl.....does anyone have any idea if the roads are being closed of

Is there anywhere for the losers like me who missed out can stand and still hear them?

I have entered the radio comp to win tickets....heres hoping!!!!!!

Thankyou so much for your reply! You have made me feel a bit better. Do you know if the people taking the tickets ever let afew extra in after everyone who has tickets is in? No. I doubt it. I think I am just pulling at strings here.

Have a great time in there!

i think you are pulling at strings.

My advice to you, start checking ticketmaster on thurs fri and saturday regularly because they ALWAYS release a small batch of tickets just before the show. I guessing if they do they will only be general ad, but at least you will be inside the gate!

im not sure of the exact reasoning, but i assume it has someting to do with overestimating the effect of stage set-up and lighting posts so that noone has an impeded view. Then once the stage is set they have a better idea and can release more tickets.

They do it all the time, i went to the daft punk concert in december (at sidney myer music bowl) which was sold out but they were selling tickets on the internet on the day of the show. This was also the case at U2 last yr.
