Australia In December?

A meet up sounds great, if the shows are anything like either of the 3 shows I saw in 2008 (Sydney 1&2, Christchurch) i'll be over the moon!

Yeah I'm up for a meet up as well. It's odds on I'll be in Melbourne in December they'd better play there.

I'm willing to bet Melbourne and Sydney are the two guaranteed cities. I'll obviously be at the Perth show if there is one, and have friends/relatives in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide so I'm hoping someone will put me up for accom.

BTW Rob, when are you going to be in Aust?

I'll be in Melbourne when they go. If they are doing one or two shows, who knows, but we should pick one show and all go to that one.

Maybe stay in the same motel - we could arrive in style - in a limo.

Hopefully they'll hurry up and announce the dates! I am itching to get my ticket. I have $400 saved up and I don't think that's enough yet for a front row ticket.

I arrive in Melbourne on 1st of July on a one year working holiday Visa, but if I like it (which I'm sure I will) then I may look to stay as I'm in a skilled trade and have some good qualifications. I will certainly be looking to see Jovi at least once anyway as I haven't seen them since 2003.

That's a good idea. Internal Aus flights are pretty cheap so that might work well. $400 will be enough surely? Unless they're playing arenas. I really hope they play stadiums so at least then we could get gold circle tickets and just fight our way to the front.

I have no idea how much I will need. I plan on buying tons of merch as well, so the more money I have, the better!

Won't be an issue getting to the front. I'm getting there at least two hours early to get the best place, and I have strong arms and pointy elbows, so I'll fight my way to the stage no probs.

from thje stories ive heard, you may have to get their earlier than 2 hours if your rushing the floor....

Subiaco Oval was all seated on the last tour. The other venues they played were Sidney Myer Music Bowl (which I think had seats up the front and GA/grassed area further back) and Acer Arena.

I will get there 12 hours before then.
