Subi was all seated, but by Bad Name Jon was doing his whole "Get up offa your seats, this ain't television!" routine and everyone on the ground (most of the people in the stands too from what I saw) obliged. Seats can be good in that it means you can actually do something (work, study, etc) during the day before the show instead of worrying about getting to the front. But if people don't stand up, and spend the whole show telling you to sit down (like when I went to see Def Lep) it's pretty annoying (I'm about 5 foot nothing too).

BTW Telstra Dome is now called Etihad Stadium. And Bon Jovi's played there before so yeah, it'd be a good venue.

Id rather write off a day than pay probably triple the price to have a chance down near the front.

I don't think the atmosphere is as good in a seated stadium, of course if you happen to get an excellent seat, then its nice.

The band (Jon) hated Telstra Dome and vowed never to play there again so the story goes. But we will have to take what we get if its true.
