I am, actually. Reason being is that I thought they'd cost a lot more, that I wouldn't have saved up enough money, that I'd have to dig into my savings, but I don't have to. I have more than $100 extra, which will go toward merch and also my accomodation for the night.

I've said this before and, without meaning any disrespect to Makedde or anyone else (Apologies in advance if I cause offense), Australians are used to being ripped off when it comes to everything from concerts to designer brands. Grossly inflated prices are just the norm now.

Yeah I was shocked when I went to Melbourne last year. The prices for everything in general were very high. I suppose it doesn't help being based in St Kilda as it's more like a holiday destination. It's going to be even worse this time with the shoddy exchange rate. Sydney was a bit better I found, but still expensive. Ticket prices are expensive, but as Makedde said not as much as I thought they might be.

We are but nothing like these prices - I dont think anyone else charges this much.

The Eagles are about $600 for first 15 rows then it drops to $250.

Can you still get tickets through the fan club and if so where are they situated?

I don't mind being ripped off this time, though!

Hi,

Was planning to purchase Melbourne tickets through the AMEX pre-sale but judging by the looks of the Ticket Info page on the Ticketmaster site it looks as though there won't be one for Melbourne anymore : (

American Express card pre-sale was due to begin at 12 noon this Friday, and all of a sudden it's gone from the ticket information for the Etihad gig on Ticketmaster... but it still remains for the Perth concert. Maybe it's just an error as it was there yesterday.
