BON JOVI ANNOUNCE LOST HIGHWAY AUSTRALIAN TOUR
BON JOVI’s Lost Highway Tour is coming to Australia. The tour confirmation follows on from last week’s world-wide tour announcement Jon Bon Jovi made on stage at the grand opening of the Prudential Center in his home state of New Jersey.
Anticipation is running at an all time high as concerts in more than 10 countries have already been confirmed including Canada, the U.S., Japan, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Holland, Austria and now Australia.
The legendary band will tour Australia in January, playing Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 19th January, Sydney’s Acer Arena on Monday 21st January and Perth’s Subiaco Oval on Friday 25th January (Australia Day Eve). This is Bon Jovi’s first Australian tour since 1995.
Tickets to the Lost Highway Tour go on sale on Thursday 15th November at 9am.
The tour celebrates the release of Bon Jovi’s 10th studio album, the Nashville-inspired Lost Highway, which entered the Australian charts at number five, and went to number one in the US, Japan, Canada and Germany and includes the hit songs “Lost Highway” and “(You Want To) Make a Memory.”
Bon Jovi has set the bar for more than two decades as one of the most successful rock bands in the world. Globally they have sold more than 120 millions albums, played more than 2500 shows in 50 countries for 32 million people. In Australia alone they have had 30 hits in the Top 40 and six Bon Jovi albums have topped the Australian charts.
Bon Jovi has established themselves as one of the world's most dynamic live rock acts by delivering their fans dynamic performances and the best tour production imaginable. This tour will be no different!
