we have wondered that too...actually, the venue in Melb. is even smaller - apparently 2,000 seated + 11,000 standing...my brother was at the Myer music bowel fairly recently for a concert - said the sound was great, but for anyone vertically challenged it could be a pain.

Subiaco -well there's a thought that maybe they decided to play Perth because in 1995 the show there was cancelled while they were here due to Tico's tendonitis flaring up...maybe that's why Perth gets a guernsey - last time Perth saw them was in 1993 - though I'd have thought, with it potentially being very hot [and Perth's summer is very hot] they would have played somewhere like the Burswood Dome - comparatively the same in many respects to the Acer Arena in Sydney.

The other thing that is a bit strange is they come to Oz from japan - play Melbourne, fly up to Sydney, then fly pretty much across the country to Perth - then fly all the way back and then some to Christchurch...fair bit off crisscrossing there.
