Melbourne's arena show was pretty good;

I wish they would do General Admission standing.
Did did GA standing last time in Melb, I was in front of everyone. Not sure if I want GA though, I mean, I'd get there early to get a good place as close as possible, but if I needed to pee before the show started, I'd never get my spot at the front back. So I reckon I will go for an actual seat, but even if its all the way up the back, it'd be worth it just to be there. I may splurge on just one concert.

So tickets are supposedly going on sale next month and we have heard nothing at all. Are they even going to come to Australia? I am getting a bit ticked off because they say they are coming, but we have heard not one peep as to when they are coming!

Ehm it's quite common tickets to be going on sale one week after they announce the exact dates. Yet they told you the band is coming, gave you plenty of time to save up because they're well aware tickets will be expensive, and you're still complaining and getting "ticket off".

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Hey Seb,

I don't believe that was the case in 2010. While I don't remember when tickets went on sale, I do believe we had a number of weeks before the sale date.
I am only beginning to get frustrated as I need to be home to purchase a ticket, and if I don't let my workplace know that I wish to have that particular morning off, I am concerned I may miss out on a ticket to see my fave band.

And Seb, I started saving for the next concert in January 2011 - I knew they'd be back soon enough. I have enough money to attend every single Australian concert, and then some.

So what's your problem?

I'm glad they're not on sale yet. There have been so many other bands playing, that they are wise to hold off. It's not until December anyway.

My problem is with my work. I am simply worried that I won't get enough notice to take the morning off work in order to buy tickets.
I don't recall when they went on sale last time, can you remember? It was a good few months before the concert, in any case.

I am simply worried that I might miss out on tickets - surely you can understand that. Hopefully they don't sell so quickly this time around.

Just had an email:

"Backstage JBJ members - get ready. Be a part of Bon Jovi's Because We Can - The Tour when we come to Australia. Bon Jovi will be rocking out in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.

Further details for the cities will be released very soon, so keep checking BonJovi.com/Tour for important updates. Pre-sales will be starting any day now - don't miss out on seeing Bon Jovi live in 2013!"

Pretty bad timing with Richie practically quiting. I'm not sure I'm going to shell out the usual $200 when the coolest and most talented band member isn't even performing.
