Thierry, I know what you mean, I understand that and I respect your answer and that's cool....but just to be clear here...this is not the only thing aussies are doing....massive support network here doing a massive amount to get the band here....some extremely positive replies/responses [ie: major radio station in Perth will promote the online petition - that comes directly from their PR/Marketing Exec., the avalanche of emails to promoters now sees at least 4 promoters here bidding to bring BJ here for a national tour etc.] so it's not just about garnering support for this petition.
We haven't had this type or amount of positive support from fellow fans o/s before, we haven't had this type of good/great response from Australian radio stations, record stores, promoters, so aussies are posting and asking for support.

Nice reply from a man who lives in a country Bon jovi visit in each and every tour... Try living in Greece and you might be more supportive. It costs nothing but 2 minutes of your time and you know, it doesn't matter if they'll succeed or not, it's just about being supporting to fellow fans.

BTW I signed anyway... We'll never see them in Greece, but if you Aussies manage to pull that off... well kudos to you for a job well done.

In thierry's defence, they aren't goign to think we could shift alot of tickets in oz if mosof hte petition is from people outside Australia.

It's not even that they lack support it's just that logistics wise, Australia is a massive pain in the arse and incredibly expensive to do a tour of thaty size. if they thought it was worth it, they'd already be playing it every tour.

You don't have to write from which country you are and if you want you can hide your e-mail, so there's no telling if you are an Aussie or not...

You are right that Australia is a problem when it comes to logistics, but if other bands can make it, Bon Jovi can too.

Last night we saw Maiden in Greece and on Saturday we'll see Black Sabbath. How much more expensive can a Jovi concert be than a Sabbath one? Keep in mind that Sabbath will bring along their full productions. So not much more expensive I guess... So if Sabbath can come to Greece Bon Jovi can too and if Motley are going to Australia, Bon Jovi can too.

If everybody was thiking like Thierry, then we should resign from any effort and only watch the band play live in the usual 5 or 6 European countries and USA only. Maybe they should rename their European tour to UK/Germany/Holland and maybe another country tour...

That's one of my reasons not to sign for the petition. Also the other Australian girl made too much of these posts I got bored of it.

O well you Aussies good luck trying!

Agree 100%......eheh the bon jovi world tours (from 2000 till 2003)
should have been named : " the same songs in the same 6/7 countries tour"
I bet this year bon jovi will be in the same few countries again
usa/uk/germany/holland/japan........HOW SAD IS THIS WORLD TOUR?
