What do you get when you purchase a 'Diamond Ring Circle Package $1,950.00'?
(Not that I planned to buy one though...)

A ridiculously over-priced ticket that will end up being reduced in price to a fraction of that a week before the show.

a bunch of merchandice, $150 giftcard for online store, a dinner with matt and obie, front row tickets.... merchandice is worth like $200, and everything really worth about 500-700 dollars, not 2000.

$99 for the lowest price ticket is unfortunately the standard for any major stadium gig in Australia, but the top end price (I'm talking about tickets, not packages) is over $100 more than last time.

Aren't the Eagles headed to Australia too? Are they playing the same stadiums? How do their prices compare?

The Eagles are playing at a different venue in Perth, but I just had a look at Ticketmaster and the prices aren't advertised yet.

If, as a band, you aspire to be compared to the Eagles, you have seriously lost the plot.

Jesus! Ticket prices in general are becoming way too expensive. I don't see why either. We're supposed to be in a recession for ****'s sake.

There's a statement that has has nothing to do with the conversation. I'm just curious how the *ticket prices* compare. I looked at some of the Eagles prices in the USA and they were more expensive than Bon Jovi so I'm wondering how they compare in Australia.

Yeah The Eagles have always been expensive. It's the same with The Stones and Madonna, etc. For some reason they seem to think that because they're a vintage artist then they can charge through the teeth. I wouldn't quite say Bon Jovi are vintage artists yet.
