The eagles were one of the first bands to bring packages to Australia. I remember when they came it must have been the late 90's they were charging packages that look cheap now compared to Jovi.
Hopefully Jovi will get a huge backlash in the papers for ridiculous prices.

I love bon jovi but I dont believe they are a 'supergroup' they are not the stones or U2. The supergroup tag was first said by Matt when they justified the prices for LH packages when they brought them in for the Prudential shows in NJ. Again those prices look cheap now compared to what they are doing.

That $1950 price is for ticketmaster/ticketek packages which wont include dinner or backstage tour. The only way to do the dinner and backstage tour is to buy a VIP ticket thru the fanclub and no details have been released for them yet. The fanclub packages have been cheaper than general sales packages so far - but its still a rip off.

*Ticket Prices* you can only get away with charging if you are viewed as a heritage act.

(Not that I planned to buy one though...)
I'm pretty sure you could buy an actual diamond ring for the same money.

The top price for tickets to the Eagles is $257 aussie - which makes BJ prices look even more stupid

If that's the case for the Melbourne show, the max I'll be able to afford in the Undivided Party Package - what will I get for that?

If I went for the Diamond ($299.90) what would I get?

Woah, did Michael Jackson have a residency set up in Australia as well?

Seriously, if the prices stay the same for Europe in 2011, I've finished with live shows and will lose all faith in this band. The organisation of the O2 residency was a disgrace and it looks increasingly likely it was just the tip of the iceberg.

This is for one of the shows in Perth.
Outdoor stadiums so unless you spend a minimum of $300 per tix you get to see sh*t!!!!!!

So upset - finally convinced hubby to take me for my birthday and now I have to decide whether to bite the bullet and go for the semi nosebleeds $150 and hope for an upgrade ala O2 or just forget it.

Not even sure if these will be the Melbourne prices or they will be even more
Prices are indeed crazy. I paid $150 for AC/DC (also stadium show) and was close to the stage. For this kind of prices, they should've asked me to join the band to replace Bandiera.
