don't know if that was your intention but it's what's working for ya.

There's a huge difference between solo Jon getting billed as Bon Jovi and Bon Jovi playing with extra musicians

the day they actually replace Richie and David with Bobby and Jeff is the day this actually matters as much as you seem to want it to

What is everyones deal with Hugh. He's a fantastic bassist. His lines are killer and add to the songs. If you just sit and listen to his basslines, you'd be amazed at how catchy they are. Oh, but he doesn't jump around and sing and freak out like Alec. Well if you're only hear for the music and not for the image, what are you bitching about? (This is just to the people who constantly ask for alec to come back.)

Well I'm torn, because I liked watching Alec but I like making robot jokes about Hugh, and I can't have my cake and eat it too

but yeah, Hugh's talented. And I think he fits very well into the situation of "well we can't do this without a bassist but we don't want anyone to care about him"

and I should clarify that by "liked watching Alec" I mean "I like watching him on old videos because I was five when he left so even if I did care about who played bass in Bon Jovi I wouldn't remember it"

Why does Bobby and Jeff bother you? They brought them along because they wanted to play some songs from TLFR etc. and they couldn't do that properly without the additional musicians. Besides Bobby isn't the guitarr-player or singer that Richie is so he could never take is place anytime. lol!
Nope, I don't think they'll be around for the next tour (whenever that will be) they will come to Europe though I guess.
Anyways, I don't mind it at all. And that comment about Hugh??? what was that about! He is a great bass player.

Unhappy

this is just a thought, and maybe i'm way off(hopefully).
But is it possible that the 2nd guitarist, who has played some solos live and apparently done more backing vocals than ritchie, is going to replace ritchie as lead guitarist if he decides to leave?
I mean hugh has been around as a studio musician with jovi long before he took alecs job.
Could this be Jovi's new lead guitarist learning his trade in the shadows of the live tour?
And if it is, will jon allow him any songwriting duties on a new album, or should we expect another destination anywhere under a new brand?

God i'm getting paranoid- haha

And why would Richie leave Bon Jovi? Has he suffered a recent trauma to the head?

Tico, Hugh, & Dave have all gone through divorces and stayed in the band. I doubt Richie will leave over his marriage.
