OMG, those lyrics are stellar!

Yesterday my friends and I were talking about the utter hypocrisy of the band standing there singing Work for the Working Man when every seat in that stupid hole in the stage "Circle" will have been sold for $1000+. The "working man" indeed.

I agree. I have some really good friends that I made on Backstage. A couple of them have been fans since SWW. Self-described Kool-Aid drinkers . . . until now. They were really upset for awhile, but last night they were well on their way to MAD AS HELL. And they were over blaming Matt, AEG, etc. They were blaming the almighty JON. I never thought I'd see the day. When fans like them are that mad, the band made a very serious mistake.

it`s to late for O2 but I really hope for Paris and possible other european dates in june people going crazy might help a bit Im very proud that finally backstagers is getting up and saying we got ripped of cause we paid 50 dollars to stand in that circle not to watch a messageboard full of jon lover and get infos later than anyone else (if we were stupid enough to only look there and not here too)

It really says an awful lot if Backstage is kicking off like this. Jon Bon Jovi sold us out. He should be ashamed. My mum bought me a ticket for the 02, if she hadnt i wouldnt be going at all.

This is awesome that BS has finally decided to put the blame and accountability where it truly lies: the band, the management and the rock God himself, JON.

Exactly how much has it gone up since the last tour?

Here in the U.S., it's hard to do a direct comparison just yet. We don't have prices for arena shows yet, and they didn't play stadiums last time. The only way to compare is with the fantabulous, disgusting packages. The front row package this time is $3,500 for 2. It seems like it was $1,700 last time, but I don't remember for sure. Goodness knows I don't shop for those packages!

EDIT - Someone just posted on Backstage that during the O2 pre-sale the exact same block and row came up that she sat in back in 2007. In 2007, the ticket was £75. This year it would have been £200. (She did not buy it.)

Someone put up a poll on Backstage asking if members were happy with the pricing of the fan club tickets/VIP packages. 139 people have voted thus far, and 92.81% voted "no." I realize that there's a built-in level of dissatisfaction with any pricing issue, but still -- that's pretty overwhelming.

I have said this in another post im sure, But in 2007 I was fortunate enough to get presale Block A1 row B and was £85.00 i believe may have been £75.00. I was literally 1-2meters from the stage. see my You Tube Vids - search- Bon Jovi o2 Arena daftkast. Was hoping with current economic conditions it would have been the same for next year. But was offered today A1 Row XX and that was for a seat half way back due to having the stage and then the fan pits. They wanted £111.00 for this ticket.

I then for a laugh looked at what i would get for £200.00 tickets. Thinking it would be fan pits and i was offered seats further back to what we had in 2007! absolute madness.I think the best i could get for that price was A1 row N. The ticket incl fees was £222.00 per ticket.

The whole thing is a F**King Joke. I really hope a paper picks up on this so that they have to come out with a statement or they atleast fail to sell out so next time they know they mucked up with the pricing.

Rich
