Jen, I agree it is crap, but trust me, it is the crew guys taking it upon themselves to do it and it's easy to say it's Jon's rule, they are just trying to get their own benefit by given them to girls, if you know what I mean.

And yes, the other pits are normally competition winners and the last pit is the random folks that get bracelets from either the crew or record company.

It will be interested to see how many of these "random" ones get handed out now since folks are paying to be in there either through the fanclub or through the Ticketmaster VIP packages.

That's what I was thinking. At least before I could tell myself that I had a shot of "someday" possibly getting the opportunity to be on stage. I can't afford $750 (x2) to purchase the VIP package.

I wonder who saw the dollar signs on that idea first!

I personally found joining the fan club a waste of money. I didnt find out before jo public about the concerts and I only got about 3/4 news letters of them. Waste of money, but thats only my opinion.

Yep, ditto. The only benefit was the HRC, and I had to pay at least £300 for the benefit of being stuck at the back of the room no where near JBJ. Other than that, nothing whatsoever. I never joined for years as I thought it wouldnt benefit me in the UK, and after being a member, I was proved right. No renewal for me.
